As a Project Manager at Brevity, you will take full ownership of project lifecycles—planning, executing, and delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. You’ll act as the bridge between stakeholders, development teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role is perfect for someone who combines strong leadership with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead End-to-End Project Delivery: Own the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent software projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Strategic Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders and clients; develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Budget & Timeline Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met; proactively adjust schedules and resources to accommodate changes without compromising quality.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal leadership; provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to ensure full visibility and alignment.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams (developers, QA, designers, and business analysts); foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages accountability and innovation.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential roadblocks early, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution using data-driven decision-making and creative problem-solving.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) to improve efficiency, predictability, and quality across the organization.
• Contract & Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to contractual obligations, SLAs, internal governance, and industry best practices.
• Post-Implementation Reviews: Conduct lessons-learned sessions and retrospectives to capture insights and drive continuous improvement for future projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven Leadership: 4–5 years of hands-on project management experience in a software development or technology-driven environment, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Deep Agile Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks; experience acting as a Scrum Master or Product Owner is a strong asset. Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
• Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-level executives, clients, and technical teams with clarity and confidence.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture while managing granular details; skilled in prioritization, trade-off analysis, and balancing competing demands.
• Advanced Tool Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet) and standard office suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Strong Financial Acumen: Experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and delivering financial reports to stakeholders.
• Problem-Solver: Calm under pressure; capable of navigating ambiguity and turning challenges into opportunities.
• Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Certifications (Preferred but not required): PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agilist certification is a plus.
• Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment; able to pivot quickly when priorities shift.
